CrossFit Kids is meant to be BIG fun for all ages. Fun means we provide an active alternative to sedentary pursuits, which means less childhood obesity and all-around better health for our children. Further, the needs of second graders and high school varsity wrestlers differ by degree but not kind; the program is scalable for any age or experience level and accounts for the varied maturation status one can find in a class full of kids. This program gives kids the opportunity to be physically fit and active throughout their lives.
Our youth weightlifting program focuses on good form and progression of loads over time. We believe these progressions are essential for youth & junior age novice weight lifters, especially with developing bodies. We are aware of safety requirements including proper technique and appropriate weight selection. Our program is led by certified national U.S.A.W coaches. Our coaches have qualified multiple youth, junior, senior, and masters athletes for several national level meets. We’re confident that we have the knowledge and experience to help any athlete reach their full potential.
