  • Jason Bonnick Coach

I have been in the “strength and conditioning” aspect of the fitness industry for well over 10 years. My fitness background stemmed from High School/College football, to acquiring my NCFS Certification in 2011, to currently being a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. I can honestly say that “I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit”. I am constantly amazed at all the different ways that CrossFit challenges me. Every day I look forward to creating new ways of progressively pushing myself and others. Through CrossFit we can learn to use what we once thought were road blocks and barricades, as stepping stones and building blocks to better bodies and brighter tomorrows.

  • Chad Olsen Rev Fitness Coach and CrossFit Coach

I am a Jersey Boy who graduated from West Virginia University. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, specializing in Strength and Conditioning and Athletic Coaching Education. Athletics have pretty much taken over my life since I took my first steps. Most of my adolescent years were spent driving from sport to sport changing uniforms in the car. There has always been a desire to compete and finding CrossFit in 2009 enabled me to do that once more. However, I don’t think I was mature enough just yet to stick with it; after completing 100 Power Cleans for time, doing 5 Burpees every minute on the minute, I was DONE! I wanted to continue my “Curls for Girls” and lifting heavy objects was the only priority.

While Studying at WVU I had one of the best opportunities possible to work in a Collegiate Style facility that accepted members of all age and skill levels, from pre-adolescent to the seasoned veteran, and from fundamentals to elite athletes. I was able to experience every aspect of fitness on all levels and I fell in love. I knew what I wanted to do now, I just didn’t know exactly where or how to get there!

Fast forward a few years, and a couple missteps later I found myself in Florida searching for that passion that once burned hot inside to be amongst athletes, inside a facility, competing, surrounded by like-minded individuals. Once again, I found CrossFit and CrossFit found me, and bells started to ring. This new community, this new family aspect of fitness was something I longed to be a part of, and the people made it so easy. For the past 2 years now I have devoted every waking minute to furthering my education, my coaching ability, and athletic ability to better serve those that love this sport as much as I do. There’s only one thing that can give me a rush like competing myself, and that’s watching one of my athletes give it their all just the same!

I couldn’t be happier to start my next venture inside the walls of Gardens CrossFit. I have a very large reputation to uphold that has stood for some time, and I couldn’t be more excited, and ready to do so. I hope to learn just as much from you all about this thing called life as I can open your mind to the wide world of fitness!

  • Timothy Stillman CrossFit Kids Coach

Timothy Stillman began his athletic career by studying Capoeira, training for six years at Capoeira Colorado Springs. He used the martial art as a tool for performances and shows. While training in Capoeira, he began to branch out and learn Trampoline and Tumbling, with an interest in circus-styled acrobatics. During that time, he gained experience coaching children in tumbling and cheerleading at Trampoline World in Colorado Springs, affectionately earning the nickname “Coach Tigger”. During his early college years he studied hip hop and breakdancing at Pikes Peak Community College where he obtained his Associates degree.

Tim started in CrossFit after his brother, a captain in the Air Force and fellow CrossFitter, introduced him to the discipline as a means of qualifying physically for the Air Force ROTC program. Tim spent a year at Rutgers University training in the program and this is where he learned to love fitness and physical training. He completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology at Kean University, and discovered his passion to learn about motivation and helping a person pursue their own passion. During this time, he trained and competed in CrossFit competitions as well as coaching boys gymnastics at Precision Gymnastics in New Jersey.

He obtained the CrossFit Level 1 Certificate as a means of becoming a better coach. He presently lives in Palm Beach Gardens and has again been given the chance to work with children, this time in coaching CrossFit. His goal is to provide a means of finding the fun in fitness for people of all ages!

  • Elmir Tahirovic Coach

I was born in Bosnia and moved to the United States at the age of 7. I grew up in Palm Beach Gardens playing Ice Hockey and having fun on the water as a kid.

Living in a major city was always a dream of mine. So in 2011 I decided to move to Chicago. It was there that I joined an amazing CrossFit box, and like everyone else I drank the CrossFit Kool-Aid and never looked back. On several occasions I booked my flights around my WOD schedule. I had to make sure I was able to get a workout in before I left, and as soon as I got back.
After some time I decided this is something I wanted to do. I signed up for the next available CrossFit Level 1 certification course, and a few years later I got my CrossFit Level 2 certification. I always look forward to learning something new, and passing it on to someone else.
I enjoy working with others and helping them achieve their goals no matter how big or small. I know it’s cliché, but CrossFit changed my life, it made working out exciting and I look forward to the day that I change someone else’s life.
